Terms of Service

Last updated: September 24, 2026

The short version. LoginDeck is a desktop browser that keeps each of your accounts in its own isolated profile. You may use it for accounts you own or are authorized to operate, in compliance with the rules of the sites you visit. Your profiles live on your computer. If you turn on sync, we store a copy that is encrypted on your device before it is uploaded, and we can reset a forgotten passphrase by email. Paid plans are monthly subscriptions you can cancel any time, with a 14-day money-back guarantee on your first payment.

The full terms below are what actually governs. Please read them.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the LoginDeck desktop application, the LoginDeck account and sync service, AI Flows, documentation, and websites (collectively, "the Software"). LoginDeck is a product of Balmer Island Media Inc., a corporation registered in Ontario, Canada ("LoginDeck", "we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, creating an account, or otherwise using the Software, you ("you" or "User") agree to be bound by these Terms. These Terms include a binding arbitration agreement and a class-action waiver in Section 17, which affect how disputes between you and us are resolved. If you do not agree, you must not use the Software.

2. What LoginDeck Is

LoginDeck is a browser-profile manager. Each profile is a separate browser environment with its own cookies, storage, browser fingerprint settings, and (optionally) its own proxy connection, so that several accounts can be used from one computer without sharing state. The Software also offers optional features including encrypted sync between your computers, team workspaces, an automation system ("Flows"), AI assistance inside Flows, and imports from other profile managers.

Profiles are stored on your device. Unless you enable sync, no profile data leaves your computer. When you enable sync, profile data is encrypted on your device before it is uploaded, as described in Section 6.

3. License Grant

Subject to your ongoing compliance with these Terms and payment of all applicable fees, LoginDeck grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to install and use the Software on devices you own or control, within the profile, device, and seat limits of your plan, solely for your personal or internal business purposes. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

4. Plans, Subscriptions, and Billing

LoginDeck is offered as: (a) a free plan with limited profiles and features, which does not expire; and (b) paid plans sold as monthly subscriptions with higher limits and additional features, as described on our pricing page at the time of purchase. During our beta period we may offer a free beta plan with elevated limits; beta plans may be changed or withdrawn at any time with notice.

Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from the billing portal or by contacting us; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep your plan's features until then. Except as set out in our Refund Policy, payments are non-refundable and there are no refunds or credits for partial periods.

When a paid plan ends or a payment fails, your account moves to the free plan. Your profiles remain on your computer and nothing is deleted. The profiles you used most recently stay open, up to the free plan's limit, and you can keep using, syncing and exporting them. Any profiles beyond that limit are locked: they are kept as they are, but cannot be opened, exported or copied until you move to a plan that covers them, and then they open again unchanged. Which profiles stay open is set when the plan changes and cannot be swapped. Team members beyond the new plan's seats lose access. You can still get a copy of your personal data in a locked profile, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Plan changes: upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated by our payment processor; downgrades take effect at the next renewal. If a downgrade leaves you with more profiles than the new plan covers, the same rule applies: your most recently used profiles stay open up to the new limit, and the rest are locked until a plan covers them again. Nothing already stored is deleted by us.

One free account per person. Each person may use one free LoginDeck account. We apply this by computer and by internet connection: the first LoginDeck account used on a computer holds that computer's free plan, and only one free account can be used from the same internet connection. Any other account used on that computer or connection needs a paid plan to work there. The free plan also covers a set number of computers, shown on our pricing page. We may refuse or close free accounts created to get around these limits, for example several accounts that reach one inbox, or accounts on throwaway email addresses. If you share a network with other people who have their own free accounts, such as in an office or on a VPN, contact us.

Billing, tax calculation, and payment collection are handled by our third-party payment processor, who acts as merchant of record for your purchase and is named at checkout. Your transaction is subject to that processor's terms in addition to these Terms. Prices are shown in US dollars and may include or exclude applicable sales tax, VAT, or GST depending on your jurisdiction; you are responsible for any taxes that are your legal obligation. We may change prices with at least thirty (30) days' notice; a price change applies from your next renewal after the notice period.

You authorize us and our payment processor to charge your selected payment method for your subscription and any add-ons you choose. If a payment fails or is reversed, we may suspend the paid features of your account until it is resolved.

5. AI Features and Metered Usage

Some features send content to an artificial-intelligence model provider on your instruction — for example, when a Flow asks the AI to read a page and decide the next step. Each plan includes a monthly allowance of "AI actions"; the allowance and how it is counted are shown in the Software and on the pricing page. Unused actions do not roll over and have no cash value. We may adjust allowances with notice. AI output may be wrong, incomplete, or unsuitable; you are responsible for reviewing what a Flow does before relying on it, and for the results of any Flow you run.

6. Encrypted Sync, Your Passphrase, and Password Reset

When you create a LoginDeck account, you choose a passphrase. The passphrase is used on your device to derive the keys that encrypt your synced data and prove your identity to our server. The passphrase itself is never sent to us and we do not store it in any form that can be turned back into text. Your synced data is encrypted before it leaves your computer.

You can reset a forgotten passphrase. We keep a sealed backup copy of your account's encryption key — encrypted under a master key held by our server — so that forgetting a passphrase does not destroy your synced profiles. To reset, you ask for a code, we email it to the address on your account, and entering that code in the app lets you set a new passphrase and keep your data. The same sealed copy is what lets "Continue with Google" sign you in to an account you have already set up. We open it only to complete a reset or sign-in you have initiated.

The trade-off, stated plainly: because that sealed copy exists, our servers are technically capable of decrypting your synced data, and so would be an attacker who obtained both our stored data and our master key. We do not read your synced data, and we will not, but we are not going to claim a technical impossibility that is no longer true. Keep control of the email address on your account — anyone who controls that mailbox can complete a password reset.

Sync is a convenience copy, not a backup service for your only copy of anything. We use durable cloud storage and reasonable safeguards, but we do not guarantee that synced data will never be lost, and you should keep your own backups of anything you cannot afford to lose.

7. Proxies and Networks

LoginDeck does not sell, resell, or provide proxy servers, IP addresses, or network connectivity. Any proxy you configure in a profile is supplied by you or a third party of your choosing, and your use of it is governed by that provider's terms and by applicable law. Features that let you route a profile through one of your own devices (for example, a phone on a mobile network) use hardware and network access you already own and are responsible for. We are not responsible for the availability, performance, legality, or conduct of any proxy or network you use.

8. Acceptable Use

LoginDeck exists so that people and teams who legitimately operate several accounts — agencies, e-commerce sellers, social-media managers, affiliate marketers, testers, researchers, and anyone who values keeping their browsing compartmentalized — can do so cleanly and safely. It masks and stabilises browser fingerprint signals so that each profile presents a consistent, ordinary browser. That capability is provided for account isolation and privacy. It is not provided to help anyone deceive people, defraud businesses, or break the law.

You agree that you will:

You agree that you will not use the Software, directly or indirectly, to:

We may suspend or terminate accounts we reasonably believe are used in violation of this Section, and we may cooperate with lawful requests from authorities in connection with such use.

9. Third-Party Platforms; No Guarantee Against Detection or Suspension

Websites and platforms you access through the Software ("Platforms") may, in their sole discretion, restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts, with or without notice, including for activity they attribute to the use of multiple accounts, automation, proxies, or fingerprint-management software. We do not guarantee that any Platform will not detect the Software, or that any account used with the Software will remain in good standing. Fingerprint technology, detection systems, and Platform policies change constantly. You assume all risk relating to your accounts on any Platform, including loss of access, loss of content, loss of advertising spend, loss of revenue, and any penalties a Platform may apply. LoginDeck is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any Platform.

10. Your Responsibilities; Account Security

You represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. You are responsible for safeguarding your passphrase, your devices, and any credentials stored inside your profiles. You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and in your profiles, including activity by team members you invite, until you notify us at support@logindeck.com of a suspected compromise and we have had a reasonable opportunity to act.

11. Team Workspaces

Paid plans may allow you to invite other people ("members") into a workspace with limited permissions. The account owner is responsible for members' use of the workspace and for ensuring members are entitled to operate the accounts they are given access to. Members' own LoginDeck accounts are governed by these Terms. We do not mediate disputes between an owner and a member; access is controlled by the owner.

12. Prohibited Conduct Toward the Software

13. Intellectual Property

LoginDeck, including all source code, browser engine modifications, designs, logos, trademarks, documentation, and related content, is owned by Balmer Island Media Inc. and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks except as needed to display the Software as installed. Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you submit to us are non-confidential, and you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use them for any purpose without compensation or attribution. Your profiles, Flows, and data remain yours.

14. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SOFTWARE AND ALL RELATED SERVICES, FEATURES, AND OUTPUTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LOGINDECK DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, TITLE, AND QUIET ENJOYMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE; THAT ANY PROFILE WILL BE INDISTINGUISHABLE FROM AN UNMANAGED BROWSER; THAT ANY PLATFORM WILL NOT DETECT, RESTRICT, OR SUSPEND ANY ACCOUNT; OR THAT SYNCED DATA WILL NEVER BE LOST.

Any features powered by artificial intelligence or labelled "beta", "preview", or "experimental" are provided for evaluation only, may produce inaccurate or unexpected results, may be modified or removed at any time, and are excluded from any service-level commitment or warranty.

15. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL LOGINDECK, BALMER ISLAND MEDIA INC., OR ANY OF ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUES, ACCOUNTS, ADVERTISING SPEND, GOODWILL, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, OR DATA (INCLUDING DATA THAT CANNOT BE DECRYPTED BECAUSE A PASSPHRASE WAS LOST), ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE OR ANY PLATFORM OR PROXY ACCESSED THROUGH IT, WHETHER BASED ON CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING UNDER OR IN CONNECTION WITH THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED CANADIAN DOLLARS (CAD $100). MULTIPLE CLAIMS DO NOT EXPAND THIS CAP.

Any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the Software must be brought within one (1) year after the cause of action arose, or it is permanently barred, except where applicable law prohibits a contractual shortening of the limitation period. The exclusions and limitations in this Section form an essential basis of the bargain between you and us. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages or warranties; in those jurisdictions the foregoing applies only to the maximum extent permitted by law.

16. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless LoginDeck, Balmer Island Media Inc., and its directors, officers, employees, agents, and contractors from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use or misuse of the Software; (b) your violation of these Terms, including Section 8; (c) your violation of any applicable law; (d) your violation of any Platform's terms or any third party's rights; (e) any account, profile, Flow, content, or data you operate, create, or process using the Software; or (f) the acts of any member you invite into a workspace. We may assume the exclusive defence and control of any matter subject to indemnification, in which case you agree to cooperate with our defence, and you may not settle any such matter without our prior written consent.

17. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles or the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.

Binding arbitration. Except as set out below, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Software shall be resolved by final and binding arbitration administered by ADR Institute of Canada, Inc. under its Arbitration Rules, before a single arbitrator, seated in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, conducted in English. Either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual-property rights or confidential information without first complying with this arbitration provision. Small-claims court actions within the monetary jurisdiction of that court may also be brought in lieu of arbitration.

Class-action waiver. You and we each agree that disputes will be resolved on an individual basis and waive any right to participate in a class, collective, consolidated, or representative action.

30-day opt-out. You may opt out of the arbitration agreement and class-action waiver by sending written notice to support@logindeck.com within thirty (30) days of first accepting these Terms, including your name, the email associated with your account, and a clear statement that you wish to opt out. If you opt out, disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario, to whose exclusive jurisdiction you and we both submit, subject to the carve-outs below.

Applicable-law carve-outs. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any right, remedy, or liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including consumer-protection laws applicable to you. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, the United Kingdom, Australia, Quebec, or another jurisdiction whose laws give you mandatory rights that conflict with this Section, those mandatory rights apply to you and the conflicting provisions do not, but the rest of these Terms remain in effect. EU/UK consumers may also bring proceedings in the courts of, and benefit from the mandatory laws of, their country of residence.

18. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Software at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice, including for violation of these Terms, non-payment, suspected fraud, abuse, chargeback, or legal or reputational risk. You may stop using the Software at any time by uninstalling it, and you may close your account from inside the Software, which deletes your synced data from our servers. Profiles on your own computers are yours and are not affected by termination of your account with us. All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership, accrued payment obligations, warranty disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, dispute resolution, and governing law.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will provide reasonable notice (for example, by email or an in-app notice) at least fourteen (14) days before it takes effect, except where a shorter period is required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention reasons. Continued use of the Software after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree, your sole remedy is to stop using and uninstall the Software.

20. General

Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent; any attempted assignment in violation of this provision is void. We may freely assign these Terms, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

Independent parties. Nothing in these Terms creates any partnership, joint venture, employment, agency, or fiduciary relationship between you and us.

Notices. We may give notices by email to the address on your account, by in-app message, or by posting on our website. You may give notice to us at support@logindeck.com, with a copy by mail to Balmer Island Media Inc., 1020 Shaw Drive #1607, Mississauga, Ontario, Canada L5G 3Z5.

Force majeure. We are not liable for any failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including internet or hosting outages, cyberattacks, government action, or the act, omission, outage, or policy change of any third-party service, Platform, or provider on which the Software depends.

Entire agreement; severability; waiver. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and LoginDeck regarding the Software. If any provision is held unenforceable, it shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary and the remainder shall remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it.

Language (Quebec / Québec). The parties confirm that they have requested that these Terms and all related documents be drafted in English. Les parties confirment qu'elles ont exigé que la présente convention et tous les documents connexes soient rédigés en anglais.
